Bad Freienwalde
The oldest health resort in the Mark Brandenburg has made a name for itself. Bad Freienwalde awaits its visitors with a picturesquely restored town centre, a dignified spa park, healing springs and a baroque town hall. If you still have strength after visiting the local history museum, the Ranthenau memorial and a stroll through the city, you can climb the 7 towers hike. This path, which was awarded Germany's hiking trail of the year in 2020, leads the hiker to seven observation towers - a wide view and a beautiful view over the Oderbruch are guaranteed! There is also Germany's northernmost ski jump, which nestles in an impressive valley on the western outskirts of the city.
