Angermünde

The beautiful small town of Angermünde lies between the monastery walls and the lake shore at the southern tip of the Uckermark. The city center was extensively and successfully restored after German reunification, so that visitors can stroll comfortably on the picturesque market square and in the old town alleys. Small shops and restaurants have been preserved in this city center and invite you to visit. The city wall from the early modern period, which has been largely preserved, is definitely worth seeing. Artists regularly exhibit their work in the former monastery church. A small Zoo, rounds up the city program for young and old.
